WELCOME TO TANGLEWOOD ELEMENTARY'S STEM AND TECHNOLOGY PAGE
Where scholars work with their hands to create their learning their way.
TECHNOLOGY
First though Fifth Grade
While first and second grade have the most exposure, grades three, four, and five also experience technology when times allow. The lower grades learn the basics of how to use the computer and keyboarding basics. Everything they do in class can be done at home.
STEM

Uses different learning techniques to keep scholars wanting more. They focus on the STEM concept while utilizing the scientific process.

THE LD
Students are learning how to type on typing.com. Also, they are learning the basic components of a computer.
The Google Classroom
Due to unfortunate circumstances, no student is to access google classroom at this time.
Safari Montage
This is a search engine where students can conduct research safely. This site is only used at school. Yet, another great search engine that students can use at home is: safesearchkids.com. I do not recommend students to utilize any website without parents viewing the contents along side.
Key Boarding
Students log on to typing.com from school or even at home. They use their normal user name to sign on and their password is the word password.
